Working Principle of Lime Rotary Kiln:
Qualified limestone is stored in the warehouse, lifted by the hoist and transported to the warehouse at the top of the preheater. The top bin of the preheater is controlled by two level gauges, and then the limestone is evenly distributed to each room of the preheater through the feeding tube.
Limestone is heated to 900 C by flue gas from 1150 C kiln. About 30% of the limestone is decomposed. It is pushed into the rotary kiln by hydraulic push rod. Limestone is decomposed into CaO and C O2 by sintering in the rotary kiln. The limestone formed after decomposition enters the cooler, and the cold air that is inflated into the cooler is cooled to 100 C and discharged. The 600 C hot air exchanged by heat enters the kiln and combusts with gas mixture. The exhaust gas is fed into the cold air through the induced draft fan into the bag dust collector, and then into the chimney through the exhaust fan.
The lime from the outlet cooler is fed into the finished lime warehouse by vibration feeder, chain bucket conveyor, bucket elevator and belt conveyor. Screening and other processes according to customer requirements.
Technical characteristics of lime rotary kiln:
1. The structure of the lime rotary kiln is advanced. The low-pressure loss vertical preheater can effectively improve the preheating effect. After preheating, the decomposition rate of limestone into the kiln can reach 20-25%, and the fine-grained limestone of 10-15 mm can be directly used.
